******* Giza and Orkney (Metrology 3)

The universal calculator

Preface

This website is built around a simple mathematical model of natural (whole) numbers forming a fundamental complementary geometry and arithmetic. It emerged for me from a 9-number system I had developed to penetrate the prime-numbers, but it turned out to be the exact mathematics expressed in the design of the Great Pyramid and its conceptual prototype, the Third Pyramid and, more enigmatically, it also applied to the megalithic works in Orkney, before Giza and eventually even Stonehenge, a partly contemporary with Giza.
Giza is treated here as one great mathematical design, as I understood it after John Legon’s groundbreaking work. Later I surmised that Giza was probably conceptually created by the later deified Pharao Sneferu (2575-2551 BCE), father of Khufu, who may have been a mathematician himself and had inspired his lineage with mathematics and cosmology so much that they one after the other (except the short-lived Djedefre) carried out his mathematical masterplan to be preserved for posterity.
This would be the real greatness of Sneferu and Giza and I think the sphynx is Sneferu’s face,(thick lips), as an hommage to the creator of Giza by his grandson Khafre, who may have looked like him. He was the divine guardian of the mathematical creation of himself.
By any means Sneferu was the first and the greatest builder of ‘mathematical’ pyramids ever and may have taken a life-long inspiration from the healer and genius Imhotep, the architect and builder of the first pyramid at Saqqara for his predecessor Djoser. He may have known Imhotep from his youth since the sage was deified and famed all over Egypt. Snefru as pharao also reinstated the role of a ‘vizier’ with great power like Imhotep was under Pharao Djoser. Maybe Imhotep became a mathematician by being busy with building all over Egypt.
At the end of his life Sneferu reconstructed Meidum and set the ground ratios for the later Great and Third Pyramids. Meidum was his guidance and signature under the plan of Giza in this view. Embodying the globe of the earth in a mathematical design, based on Pi as 22/7. and diagonal and height as 20 : 9. Meidum symbolized in this design a sphere with a diameter of 2 x 175= 350 x 22/7 = 1100RC circumference (4×275). We see here again an emphasis on 11 and 7. The 1100 has a diameter of 350, this is clearly 22/7. Sneferu was aware of Pi and it may have formed his last inspiration to design a square building in which the circle-factor Pi is incorporated and can be read from the ratios of the dimensions.
Here an analysis of Meidum Pyramid in Royal Cubits of 0.5236m: 275RC = 143.99m , 175RC = 91.63m ; 275 : 175 = 11 : 7 ; Great Pyramid = 440 : 280 = 11 : 7 ;  Third Pyramid = 198 : 126 = 11 : 7 ; Red Pyramid  420RC = 220m,  198RC = 103,67 m ; ground diagonal = 594  = 6 x 99 , half diagonal 297 = 3×99, height is 2 x 99, so  half diagonal : height = 3 : 2, this would be the maths of the first truly square and mathematical pyramid by Sneferu, again the cosmic length 198RC involved.  The lengths of the flanks of the Pyramid are (280^2 + 220^2= 356^2) 356RC, the edge of the Red Pyramid is (297^2+198^2 = 357^2) . (3^2+2^2=13^2)  (V13=3.605..  = 3.6).   (20 : 30 : 36)  (5 : 7,5 : 9  = 10 : 15  : 18) .
It is the restoration of the Meidum Pyramid to its ratio of 7 : 11  (175RC : 275RC) , that he undertook at the end of his life that convinces me that  Sneferu somehow influenced the maths of Giza and certainly the way things were built, since he had always experimented and been trying new technics etc. and hone the skills of his workers.  After suffering two disasters with collapsing pyramids (bad experiments?), Sneferu built the Red Pyramid with its huge base, its low height, and its gentle inclination, to stand forever, impervious to collapse and to become his burial place.

Ratios in architecture

Whatever else Giza embodies it surely states in stone two crucial mathematical theorems, one of which is the Pythagorean ratio 3:4:5 solidified in the Second Pyramid (Khafre), the other is the intricate integration of the 11:7 and 10:9 ratios, eternalized in the Great Pyramid (Khufu) which states 22/7 for Pi and is the abstract expression of the geometry of the globe, with its height expressing the radius of a sphere, its perimeter modelled after the circumference of a sphere, the Earth. The standard ‘metre’ is  1/ 40.000.000 of the circumference of Earth , ideally. The Pyramid was the expression of Earth as well and of the RC, the ‘proven length’. (I once knew how to use it and came to 39.800 km, only some 200km short, where the French rather recently went 70km wrong)
The pure mathematical design, incorporating the divine proportion 1.618 : 1, but also the crucial ratios relating to sphere and torus in resonance, the crucial ratio 10 : 9, expressed in the circle with inscribed square, of which the perimeter ratio is 10 : 9, (instead of 9.00316), the ‘seed postulate’ of this whole mathematics.
Last but not least the Third Pyramid (Menkaure) embodies the geometry of square root 2, expressed in the smallest possible integer ratios (140/99/70, 126, 198, 220) and it is on top of that also the geometrical abstraction of a sphere in the smallest whole number arrangement possible and for Pi= 22/7. It is mathematical basis and prototype of the Great Pyramid. ( That is why it had the modest dimensions it has, in volume it is 1/11th (0.090909…) of the GP, then in height and side it is 9/20th (0.45) the GP.

As if my findings in Giza (inspired by the excellent work by John Legon) were not enough I came across other evidence of these mathematics in Orkney, which is where it really starts to get ‘unbelievable’. I can’t help it. The only thing I do here is organize ‘scientific’ and solid data (self laser-measured Maeshowe with permission and Ness Str.1, without, in the dead of night, sharp rays, perfect) into a comprehensible mathematical whole. The scientific code demands that when a theory is proven consistent with the facts it must be qualified as a serious theory, that is, a source of scientific knowledge, like the relativity theory, which is also not necessarily absolutely true as theory, but excellent maths to work with, it proves.
Much of what I bring forward here is centred on the ‘Cosmic Length’ of 198 Royal Cubit  = 103.67m. This length occurs several times in the Great Pyramid and also in the Third Pyramid at Giza, but not only there, also the height of the Red Pyramid and  it is also the accepted length of the diameter of the Ring of Brodgar, here 198 Megalithic Ell = 103.67m . Stonehenge’s enclosure diameter is by all means close to the the 103.67m of the Cosmic Length (CL), the  more so because it is a ditch and given as 100 and 110 as diameter.
I call this the CL because it is unclear to me how these evident recurrences come about in such different contexts. If there are more places further afield it would become a truly ‘cosmic para-normal’ transfer of knowledge. An intuitive knowledge?
The equivalence of  the Royal Cubit and a definitely logically fitting supposed Megalithic Ell, is a personal triumph, and the enigma must be seen against the background of mathematics coming of age in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world, also the late Neolithic, from 3000BCE onwards but nowhere capable of the shattering proof of Pi in the logic of the Great Pyramid, being  4×440/2×280 = 22/7. (4xside perimeters/ 2x radius height) 4×230.375/2×146.61 =  921.5/293.22 = 3.14269, this is exactly the value of my number Qute, its Q-square is 800/81.

I do not invent these data, so what more proof do you want about Pi being at the heart of the Great Pyramid and Giza. The scientific community just resists an other narrative then the one they cherish on feeble grounds.
It is a continuing shame on Archaeology that they ignore the blatent facts that speak from the dimensions and they stick to their Rhind papyrus from over a 1000 years later where Pi was 25/8 or 3.125.
The probably secret maths of the Pyramids had gone lost, but fortunately the resulting pyramids are still standing and testify of the knowledge that made them come into being.

Twin sisters: 10/9 and 11/7

So this is the quintessence of this website: to show that the Pythagoras ratio ( a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ) had intricate and intriguing twin sisters in de ratios 7 : 11 : 14  and  9 : 10 : 11, that vanished into oblivion but are now brought back in the light of day, by reinstating in mathematics a long lost theorem which embodies the logic of resonance, of natural numbers and, last but not least, of mathematical harmony and beauty. I hope and expect that it will bring you wonderment and an aspect of natural numbers you had never expected since irrational numbers like Pi and sqrt.2 became part of your ‘received wisdom’ in maths, whole numbers became scarce, and today there seems no use for simplicity when everything is calculated for you, etc.
But I claim this complementary geometry that I expose, goes deeper and has something universal that can be found in all mathematics all over de world, it’s its simplicity and straightforwardness, ‘integers only’. This world could still do without irrational numbers and transcendental Pi’s. All ratios could be memorized and symbolized by concrete arrangements. (Nine could be a square 9-grid, the circle around it a 10, decade, 10 fingers)   Maybe they developed a way of  counting and recording that we simply don’t know and can’t imagine, yet, (as I tirelessly try to do); this is the attitude that I have towards antiquity: they were wiser and more intelligent with fabulously trained memories and patience, extremely clear and practical minds, not afraid of exerting themselves in tiring collective efforts, no doubt at the time considered as for the benefit of themselves and posterity. They must have been rather healthy most of the time).

Sound data

To be convincing for the reader I do all I can to use the best data I can find or have produced by laser myself (Maeshowe, Ness) which is not always easy in either way, and to show that my data are solid and sound and among the best around. Every unit introduced and used is derived from the large framework of natural numbers, that in the case of my model is based on the first 6 primes, that multiply each other (2×5=10) or themselves (3×3=9) and (2×7=14), These 14 numbers sustain a whole network and range of resonances. Since resonance is fundamental to ‘everything’ (vibration) and it requires natural number ratios to simply exist or be possible. Its geometry of natural numbers must be of substantial mathematical importance.
The reason I wrote this piece is that I came across crucial data which vindicate the unit values I use up to the hundredths, which strengthens my case against alternatives without mathematical meaning. In this analysis several enigmas emerge which cry out for a comment, an interpretation, so that is what I also do or leave to you.

Royal Cubit

A core value of this website is the Egyptian Royal Cubit which I had fixed at 52.36cm, but is usually given as 52.4cm in popular texts and 52.375cm in the more scientific ones. These values are based on the value given by Flinders Petrie of 20.62 inches +/- 0.005 inch which reads as between 20.615 = 52.3621cm and 20.625 = 52.3875cm. ( in my research and calculations I thought an RC of 52,355cm was the best to sustain the maths of Giza, but I thought 52,36cm was a ‘neater’ number, and it turned out to be the master choice because it is 1/6 of Pi and 1/5 of Phi^2, (6x.5236=3.1416; 5x.5236= 2.618= Phi^2) which is a rather extra-ordinary contingency.
Since the measure turned out to apply in Orkney as well, and better at that, it has become the lynchpin of my metrology system  and calculator, the megalithic Ell (ME), a more universal number you couldn’t dream up (consciously), so it’s here to stay and I see it in other texts these days as well, the Pi connection makes it unrivalled to calculate with the Pyramid and other data.
Now it may seem that 20.62 = 52.375cm is Fl. Petrie’s final choice, but he held on to a ‘private’ length of 20.617 inch which is 52.367cm. More importantly he derived this length from an actually used length of a double remen, which was 29.157 inches being 74.058cm, and this is virtually twice the remen value I had fixed at 37.025cm. This shows again how close my consequent system is to scientific data. But my data follow a logical and mathematical framework of relations and  especially ratios expressed in whole numbers.
The following Petrie-quote from an article in Nature 1933 makes absolutely clear he ‘constructed’ this length 5236 from that of a pendulum and a known length of a double Remen! certainly it is a stroke of genius:

If we take the natural standard of one day divided by 10^5, the pendulum would be 29.157 inches (7405…cm) at latitude 30 degrees. Now this is exactly the basis of Egyptian land measures, most precisely known through the diagonal of that squared, being the Egyptian double cubit. The value for this cubit is 20.617 inches = 0.5236…cm, while the best examples in stone are 20.620±0.005inches.

Those who study the Giza pyramids will soon see that none of these values offers whole number values from the data for the dimensions, this is only reached by using the value 52.355cm which I call the Borghardt/Cole value based on the base perimeter of the Great Pyramid (921.45m: 1760RC) which means that my value of 52.36cm (which is Petrie’s minimum value anyway!), is the better one when compared to Petrie’s ‘private’ length, because it is closer to Cole’s average. Petrie’s 52.375cm is said to be based on the King’s Chamber, although there it is given as 20.632 inch= 52,4cm) but this chamber could only have been built some 10, 20 or more years after the base of the Pyramid was set out, even there only the value 52.395cm occurs twice and once in the Queen’s chamber. There was no absolute RC, workers had probably copies in wood, that changed with every new copy, so it is best to make a more definite choice and use 52.36cm, because of its unique qualities. It is the best tool around, except for 52.355 to convince others.

It may seem trivial to bicker about hundredths of millimiters but it can make the difference between obvious fits with real mathematical meaning and continuing misfits without meaning, ‘bickering’ is also typical of metrology. This site is about whole numbers, all the way, because that is what everything mathematical was originally based on. That is the only way to make ratios speak to us, it is the very beginning of using numbers in organised building activity by humankind, so how could it be anything else but whole numbers to begin with. Their understanding of mathematics is in my view hidden in their architectural logic, from stone-circles to pyramids. It cannot be denied, because it is everywhere, but sheer professional disbelief is habitually strong in these corners. The intelligence and skill in antiquity and the late Neolithic is systematically, underestimated by the science community.
(I once attended a sunday-morning lecture in Paradiso, Amsterdam, on the history of Pi. Not a word on the Great Pyramid. I asked why. He said it was not proven that it was intentional. This is cultural politics. To deny a message that has been taken great pain to formulate without words in one of the greatest world wonders humanity has produced on some futulities is a downright insult and illwill. That this can exist in science is a great shame.

Maeshowe, its squares and circles

Maeshowe in Orkney (2700BCE), slightly earlier than Giza (2600BCE), is another treasure trove of circles, squares and triangles but you can’t see it, you need a key and that key is in the ratios of the dimensions which lead to an immediate understanding of the design in a picture. Only the groundplan reveals the mathematics involved in the structure.

The Rainbow Proportion (11 : 14) and 9-square in design Maeshowe
[[ Red square 9 x 9 MEll(4.71m, Henshall), big Yellow square 18 x 18 MRemen, inner Blue circle first rainbow, red circle second rainbow, together double rainbow proportion 11 : 14; red square perimeter 36ME (9), inner blue circle 40ME (10), outer blue circle 80 MRemen (=diameter Stonehenge = 29.62m)= 100 Megalithic Foot. Universal Base Rule is: the 9th circle circumference is equal to the 10th square perimeter.
This is the crucial 9 : 10 resonance of sphere and horn-torus, the ninth sphere resonates with the tenth horn-torus.
 this is when circumferences are equal and resonate, every ninth spherical wave with a tenth toroidal plane wave, that is the core idea of this maths, that this geometry is the pattern of the base-vibration of reality]]

These huge works were built according to plan, even according to geometrical design, and like all other buildings all over the world some things went a bit different than hoped for and not everything got exactly as planned. You cannot therefore dismiss an intended precise and meaningful mathematical design because the execution is not absolutely perfect, and certainly not with regard to the scale, the means and the material.
Imagine how difficult it is to realize the desired mathematical height of these collossal buildings. The proof of data here is how well they relate to rational and meaningful design, not haphazard whims. We are interested in their intentions not in the perfection of their skills, they were human beings, let me stress that in this context, but they were building on a rather ‘superhuman’ scale, so when a convincing logic can be found in their ratios there is no reason to minimize this finding as ‘one of those things’. Because, if what I have found is anything, it is of major importance, because it shows that mathematics was in Orkney and the British Isles in the late Neolithic, for one thing and Giza was about Pi and Pythagoras for another.
Those are no minor feats.

Sun-cult and standing stone

Up to now the debate has centered on the astronomy of the Neolithic, but nobody (as far as I know) has addressed the question of how they went about counting and recording their data and by what means. In my work I focus on something which must have accompanied it, that is: mathematics in architecture and landscaping.
You cannot make a calendar without counting and finding numerical cycles. So one of the themes of this site is how they counted. The obvious cycle of the Moon is very visible and predictable in the short term, 30, the month days, the lunar month, became a standard number, and its cult is related to fertility, but when it comes to the Sun counting over a longer term is inevitable and probably birth and possibly rebirth became central themes. This ‘turn to the Sun’  for, most probably, agricultural ‘reasons’ is accompanied by a Sun-cult which finds its most emblematic expression in the standing stone, which casts a moving shadow of the sun, a presence and a void, moving imperceptibly, but definitely. The stone circles express an awareness of cycles, things that return with set periods. I am rather convinced that the setting of stones in circles was an aid to counting. The number of stones depended maybe on the amount of energy they were prepared to put into it or suitable stones at hand, for counting it made no big difference. They counted days by painting a following stone each day to keep the count, these cycles can then be counted with pebbles, or carved in wood or scretched on slate stone.
All natural cycles are unique in terms of rates of change, of periods. Our time is based on day and night and how long it takes for the cycle to complete. Time is a measure of a rate of change, but only can be measured by relating to another cycle of change. I claim time is no physical dimension, but a rate of change in a contingent setting modelled by resonance .
Architecture of a Sun-cult is: being occupied with erecting standing stones and building with mega-stones, and this I call a Megalithicum and thus there were an Atlantic and a Mediterranean Megalithicum, among others elsewhere in the world in different ages. In this case the one closely following, partly overlapping the other.

Megalithicum

The obelisks of Egypt’s Heliopolis (helios=sun) and its Sun-cult (Ra) are wellknown, they are sophisticated signs of the Mediterranean Megalithicum, they have as counterparts the slightly earlier giant standing stones of the Atlantic littoral, like the 20m megalith Grand Menhir Brise in Brittany (France), which was probably felled by lightning but originally functioned as a sun dial, expressing the primordial link between the sun and day-time. This Sun-cult which became embedded in a scientific cosmology was the source of the collective Enthousiasm that must have accompanied the hard labor involved in the incorporation of their knowledge in the proportions of their giant works .  Carnac over 3000 huge(1-3.7m) stones , 3000! in long rows. Indeed famous Carnac is such an enigma, so many rowes of stones. This sun cult may have found collective extacy in doing very heavy and dangerous work. But when you see the result of their endeaver it is impressive, but also inviting to come together in large groups and fill the lanes with walking, maybe singing,  people.

Huge places like Maeshowe, Stenness, Brodgar, Avebury and Stonehenge are what they are because of the information they were meant to embody and do embody. There is an unobserved power in the handling of the stones that we cannot imagine, maybe ‘collective magnetic forces’, it baffles us. For me , this is all in a shamanic context.  Also in Egypt the supernatural was inherent in dealing with the cosmos and the pharao and it may have brought them knowledge we cannot dream of. The Mind can sometimes effect wonders, revelations, in persons, and that is what captivates people.

The identification of the stone with the Sun is an illustration of the insight that the stone, as coming from the Rock, the Earth, is of the same nature as the Sun (and as we are). So we do well to examine the character of a ‘scientific’ Sun-cult in the Atlantic Megalithicum rather than a cult of the dead, as the archaeologists have it. I am convinced that one of the most revolutionary things of the Neolithic is organising people in (semi-) permanent collectives engaging in huge architectural and scientific works. This collective work and what it enabled people to create together was one of the great social innovations of the Neolithic society and it may have been in a spirit of ‘religious fervor’ that these incredible monuments of collective effort were realized. It is known from Durrington Wall, that huge amounts of meat were meted out to people some  coming all the way from Scotland with cattle to work for the henge, hauling the Stones, or whatever needed. In the animistic world, that the stone age lived in, the stones or anything has a spirit
In Orkney’s Ness excavation it was revealed that here also huge amounts of meat were consumed. You brought your own food in with the cattle. Possibly children, whole families were involved as well, but it is a wild guess.

Nippur Cubit

Another fact came to my attention which has a similar bearing on this site although it may seem totally foreign here; it though serves to show how important the ‘hundredths’ are when it comes to relations to other standards of measurement as we see it in metrology. The Nippur Cubit, which is an ancient Sumerian measurement unit, is another strong confirmation for the ratios which embody my model and the importance of exactness even though we inevitably deal with a ‘cloud of values’ for each unit.
It is in the sketches by the finder of the original yardstick that we find the basis of the generally used values. I was never quite sure whether I used the right value, either putting it at 51.84 or 51.835 depending on the occasion, but many use 51.85 which troubled me, so below the reader can see the possibilities and that my values are ‘correct’.

We see here 4 values found by examination being a 51.80 to a 51.85 and in between a number 51.843 which I do not directly understand and the average (Mittelwert) of 51.831, which means my values are completely acceptable and at the same time perfectly fitting my metrological framework.
Point here is that from my system it emerges that the Nippur Cubit (German: Nippur-Elle!) relates to the Egyptian Royal Cubit as 99 : 100. Since 52.36 /100 x 99 = 51.836, this number perfectly fits the central margins of the original yardstick we saw above and can be rounded off as 51.835.

The Third Pyramid Menkaure

This ratio is more significant than it may seem because suddenly the side of the Third Pyramid, which I deem is 198RC, taken at the pavement level on east side (in order for the diagonal to be 280 RC, which is the height of the Great Pyramid, also from pavement level), this very side is equal to 200 Nippur Cubit. In Menkaure’s dimension of 198RC the Royal Cubit’s 7 partition is asserted as a replacement of the Nippur Cubit as cosmological standard. Sumerian cosmology was the standard of the ancient world before Egypt took the stage with Giza.
It is this kind of case where the right theory should be decisive. No one but incurable sceptics doubts Khufu was based on the ratio 11:7 and Pi=22/7 in order to embody the measurements of a globe, the Earth,  and even Khafre was based on the Pythagorean ratio 3:4:5 (which seems hardly recognized and known), highlighting the primes 37 and 137, in order to attain the height of 274RC, that fits so very well with the 126RC height of the enigma Menkaure, so, what about Menkaure? There are no convincing explanations for its dimensions (still contentious data?) or slope other than the ones I give, that is, as key theoretical-proto-type of the Great Pyramid, but it may hold more layers as Legon believes. He had found out that Menkaure had a height of 900 palms and base-diagonal of 2000 Palms at the ground level where the pyramid side is 202RC. He exactly had found the 10 : 9 ratio of height and half diagonal 900 : 1000. Menkaure thus holds the crucial ratios in different ways at different levels. According to Legon’s palm measure the pyramid reaches a height of 67.32m, from the platform level it is 65.97m, so platform height is 1.35m = 2.5 RC.
We came with 2 different possibilities, with identical ratios. It only deepens the enigma of the scope of the knowledge put into all these ratios and possible resonances.

You won’t find any one on internet claiming Menkaure is 126RC high, which is the key that fits the 274RC height of Khafre (126+274=400) and is crucial to the ratios 9 : 14 (9×14) and 198:126 (11:7). of Menkaure. The 126 and 274 are consistent with the logic and a perfect fit.

I am convinced my logic can compete with the best in the field because of its simplicity, transparency and accuracy. In my concept Giza is a truly mathematically integrated whole, as  John Legon has shown convincingly, but with Menkaure, in my view, as the key to the mathematics and logic in dimensions of the Great Pyramid and as preserver of the ‘cosmic length’ of 198RC at its paved east side (= the diameter of the ring of Brodgar, which thus exactly fits in the Third’s mathematical base square), a length which returns in the distance from the floor level (at top Gallery) of the King’s Chamber to the top of the Great Pyramid, a crucial place, it also is the width of the Pyramid at the airshaft exit level, 198RC, that is exactly at 126RC below the top. This height of 126 connects with the 274 (-> 400) of Khafre and thus binds them all mathematically together, there is, no doubt, more cross-referencing than I have unearthed yet. I try to mould the data in a mathematical whole that does right to the epochal knowledge this old Egyptian lineage has left the world in the dimensions of Giza.
[John Legon’s inspiring work ‘Egyptology and the Giza Pyramids’ opened my eyes for the overall mathematical lay-out involved]

Pyramid Geometry V2

I put great effort into getting the most solid data to build on because so many ‘bad’ data are around that no argument can be built upon them, or it is misleading. We have to go back to authoritative sources to get the right picture, which means we examine the originals when they are available. In the sketches above we get an indisputable rough limit of 51.80 to 51.85 for the Nippur Cubit, this is rock solid data, but ambiguous in itself. It though does tell us that their units were not precise in use.
Since tenths of mms do count in the ‘mechanics’ of our calculator we have to refine our values in order that we come to an integrated picture, which is amazing enough in its own right as I will show (below), and in fact seems to embody a mystery of deep universal knowledge. That is what this is all about, (re-)constructing and proving the universal calculator, using the same natural number logic in geometry as cultures from antiquity. It may all seem a bit far-fetched, but then, why does it fit?

The integration of the ancient measurement units is as follows:

NC=nippur cubit = 51.835cm (51.845)  Sumer
RC=royal cubit =  52.36 cm  (52.355 B/C, 52.375FPetrie) Egypt
RR=royal remen = 37.025 cm (37.035 FP)  Egypt
MY=megalithic yard= 82.28 cm (82.9 Thom) British Isles
ME=megalithic ell = 52.36 cm (52.8 Stukeley) British Isles
MR=megalithic remen = 37.025 cm  British Isles
MF=megalithic foot = 29.62 cm (30.0cm EgF.) British Isles
RF=roman foot = 29.62 cm Rome

100 NC =  99 RC
99 RC = 140 RR
198 RC = 280 RR
280 RC = 396 RR

1 RC  =  1 ME
11ME  =  7 MY
9 MY  =  20 MR
4 MR =  5 MF
1 MF  =  1 RF

2MY/ME = Pi  =  22/7

63 MY = 99 ME/RC = 140 MR/RR = 175 MF/RF = 100 NC = 51.835 m.

Twice this radius gives us a diameter length of 103.67 m = 198 ME/RC , this is the Cosmic Length which occurs prominently at Giza, but also in Orkney as diameter of the Ring of Brodgar.

These are the radius and diameter of the ring of Brodgar, so in Brodgar and the Third Pyramid all these ancient units of length find expression in ratios of integers. This is the universal calculator and I think it is remarkable that by combining seemingly incompatible cultures in mathematics you can produce a common system in compatible length and measure; even a similar mathematics! It makes one wonder, how come?
